Marisa Blake is an Emmy award winning Latina, Bi-lingual voice and on-camera actor, voicing everything from Animation and commercials to audiobooks and eLearning narration in both Spanish and English. Marisa is immersed in the Asheville music scene and enjoys singing and playing drums with some incredibly talented musicians she’s lucky to call friends.
Marisa was recently a part of an incredible cast in Pixar’s Dream Productions where she played one of the writers of Riley’s dreams! She also plays Meg (The bass playing mama fox) in a new series called Quokka’s Wild Life.
In 2025 Marisa and her colleagues one an Emmy for a spot focusing on the strength of our community post Hurricane Helene.
In 2020 Marisa won both an AudioFile Best Audiobooks for ‘We Are Not From Here’ and the Parent’s Gold Choice Award for ‘ Sofia Valdez Future Prez’. In 2021, she was nominated for a SOVAS Award for Outstanding PSA for a project that was directed, sound designed and voiced by Latinas.
You can find her on screen as well in the Netflix Series Florida Man, DC Comics Swamp Thing, and in the series Long Slow Exhale.
For someone who was told as a young girl that she sounds like a boy, it’s safe to say that Marisa has done quite well for herself.
